This is Mike Pence, the Indiana congressman who introduced the bill to pull all funding for Planned Parenthood. You can give him a call, like I did, at (202) 225-3021. I got an aide (you will too; these are just kids working the phones) who said that:
“Mike is forwarding the legislation in HR 21 Title 10, the Abortion Provider Prohibition Act. He believes in God’s right to life.” So - basically - this is like Prohibition for Abortion. This can be fought against. So make the calls, be civil, and fight for your rights.
I asked the aide “Do you believe in this legislation?”
He paused. “On the record?” he said.“Yeah”“I can’t say what I feel, honestly.”

Man, if only our Constitution said something like “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” Then this wouldn’t happen…
oh wait.
Also, why is Boner such a creepy leering weirdo in all pictures. I guess I should just be grateful that he isn’t lizard licking his lips like usual.

It’s sad that Pence is defending the bill in religious terms (if he is). Biology and human rights are not a matter of religion.
